there's so much new ground and so much that begs for rewrites

*nods* Reading and writing fic are pretty much the only reasons I read the comics. It actually surprises me how much mileage I get out of writing based on them, because I'm not a huge fan. The will-they-won't-they-she-definitely-still-has-feelings-for-him-and-for-once-she-might-have-to-do-the-chasing dynamic is irresistible, though. It's an interesting and challenging change from the post-NFA fic I usually write.
