I tried so hard to finish before reaching for the tissues, but I didn't make it. Haven't been this satisfied with a fic in quite awhile. As bad as the comics have been, at least we get new fic fodder out of them. They haven't even mentioned the elephant in the room, and I doubt we--or Buffy and Spike--will ever get closure in canon; but thanks for doing it yourself.:-)
