I love Anna! I didn't like her in the beginning when she was just a manipulative villain trying to hurt Elena and Jeremy, but once her backstory filled in and we saw what drove her (i.e., once she became incredibly well developed), I started rooting for her to rescue Pearl. I've just seen the episode where Pearl is horrible to her about Jeremy, so I'm interested to see where they take the mother/daughter relationship.

I like Caroline, but I haven't cared for the way the writers have been using her for the past few episodes. In general I can't relate to her very much, even though I do sympathize with her.
