I don't get why JKR saying what she said deems her as a h8er since I'm pretty sure MOST long-term marriages would benefit from counselling
I did not get a lot of the flak that JKR got after that interview. Not only painting her as a hater but the expectation that an author isn't allowed to comment on her work after the fact. Like, IDGAF about whether or not the author is supposed to dead, at the end of the day they're still her characters and she can opine on them however she wants, just like readers can choose to ignore her. TBH I sort of had to just ignore most of the Tumblr stuff I saw about that interview because it made me ~see red.
And yeah, counseling definitely FTW.
