I enjoy how you captured the dynamic between Xander and Spike so well. Oftentimes fanfic will either paint them as pure enemies, slash ship them, or ignore their interaction entirely. Begrudging friends who enjoy each other's company/respect each other more than they'd like to admit encapsulates the essence of their canon relationship perfectly.
