I understand the LOLing. 'Spuffy' sounds like a weak, unevolved Pokemon, and 'Bangel' always makes me think 'bagel' instead. I learned about the Spuffy and Bangel nicknames long before I even learned that ship nicknames were a 'thing,' though, so they've stuck with me. Also, I have this paranoia of calling them B/S by accident and non-shippers mocking it for being that other thing that BS stands for and yeah, I'm a little strange.
