The first character I fell in love with: Either Simon or Kaylee.
The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Probably Jayne, of whom I grew much more fond in "Serenity."
The character everyone else loves that I don't: Mal
The character I love that everyone else hates: Umm...I don't know whom people hate.
The character I used to love but don't any longer: I don't think there's anyone I stopped loving, although I was very apathetic about Book in "Serenity" compared to the show.
The character I would shag anytime: Simon
The character I'd want to be like: Simon, because he's committed to family above all else, intelligent, and courageous, despite not being a warrior.
The character I'd slap: Mal
My five favorite characters: Simon, Kaylee, Jayne, Wash, River
My five least favorite characters: Mal, Book, Inara
My deep dark fandom secret: I don't care for Zoe. I don't dislike her, per se, but I dislike her diehard allegiance to Mal, and I think she's overrated.

And this is definitely blasphemous to some people: I think Firefly is overrated, too.

Heh, I will not skewer you for thinking the show's overrated. I think it only gets the label of BEST JOSS SHOW EVER! because... it only ran for a season, and Joss didn't have time to screw anything up? Ha. Also, interesting point about Zoe's diehard allegiance to Mal--I'm not wild about it either, mainly because I dislike on principle the trope where a woman takes it on as her ~life duty to support some dude...

On the bright side: Yay Simon and Jayne!

That is EXACTLY how I feel!!
