Oh, this is gorgeous! I'm with you- the whole idea of a one-night stand seems staged here (and who would leave without his pants?)- but the way you dealt with it here is perfect and warms my Spuffy-loving heart. Particularly that last "I'm really glad you're back!" Buffy, honest and ever-maturing past every setback. Lovely. :)
