That's a good point about the writers not wanting to make Xander and Riley look bad. On the other hand, they've both done awful things before and the writers just never held them accountable...
I find the comics hard to follow sometimes, tbh. (And, geez, I didn't mean to write a whole novel about that--I apparently just have a lot of feelings about this issue?)
Me too! I'm only reading for the characters this season anyway (and by characters, I mean Spike). And I love novel!comments! I am glad I'm not the only one who took issue with this issue; I wondered if I was overreacting about the hook-up question.
