Yes! I hadn't thought much about being able to see the districts' reactions (although I guess they need a way to keep Gale in the movie for more than half an hour) or what the big viewing screens would be like, but it definitely makes the concept of the Games as reality TV even more powerful and horrifying. Seeing Prim's fear as she watches Katniss raises the stakes and definitely increases my own nervous anticipation.
