I dream about characters a lot, but I'm never actively in the dream. I'm just watching them get up to various shenanigans, and usually it's only in passing. Except for once, when I fell asleep in the middle of marathoning Veronica Mars and I dreamed an entire episode. It had a plot and structure and everything. There was even a soundtrack. Of course, it didn't actually make any sense at all when I woke up...
