Ok I shall just say I loved this and can't wait for more. Your Buffy voice was wonderful and I loved you addressed the apparent lack of resolution between Dawn and Buffy. This is so wonderful.
Warning- rant ahead. Feel free to ignore if you wish. :p Oh I avoided the comics for ages, because you know I wanted to imagine that Buffy had grown up. Then I couldn't resist and had to start reading. I do enjoy them but I really feel like Buffy's regressed so much. :( I just want to smack her a lot (which is of course cos I care). I could see this happen easily in the comics. The problem with Buffy I think is that Angel had truly messed her up. It was his insistence that she needed normal that makes her think that's what she should want. That's my opinion anyway. I often think that perhaps Spike has to move on and meet somebody new for Buffy to accept her feelings for him. Buffy has a tendency to always want what she can't have and she's has a bit of a martyr complex like Angel too. She just wants to punish herself and doesn't think she shouldn't be happy (at least subconsciously). Gosh sorry rant over.
