I have to chime in and add Xander to your list of characters, as, for me, his absolute worst moment in the entire seven seasons of the show come when he decides to take on responsibility for announcing the AR to Dawn (and maybe others?) without Buffy's permission, and in fact, in major violation of her agency and her trust. I've not been able to like him since, no matter how endearing he may be in earlier seasons.
