For fun, I tried to put them in the order in which I started shipping them, starting waaayyy back from when I four or five.  That might make it easier to figure some of them out, but it might also make some of them trickier if you look too hard for patterns.  *g*

ETA: Filling in the ones that have been guessed correctly.

Yes to everything but 17! Now that I think about it, 17 is a ship that EVERYONE compares to Buffy/Spike, so I should have clarified between those two more. Spuffy is on there, though.

Yes to everything except #17 and #18! Angel/Cordy are on there, though, as are Buffy/Spike (#17 is a ship that everyone compares to Spuffy, and I should have realized the similarities when I was posting, but it was a last minute addition).

I adore Arrested Development. I just started watching it last April and fell madly in love. The upcoming movie and episodes are my new Fictional Works of Art To Live For (since there is no more Harry Potter to look forward to).

I feel blasphemous, but actually there isn't anything HP-related on here. Ron/Hermione probably should have made the cut, but they're a couple where I'm either "not feeling them at the moment" or thinking "They're great! I don't know what I would change!", and so either way, I never feel extremely passionate about them.

Me, too! Eilowyn loves AD, as well. Maybe we could convert others the same way SPN and TVD have found converts...

20. is indeed George Michael/Maebe! I adore them. And yeah, they're not related (and neither, for that matter, are Jace/Clary, who are not in the meme at all). The show played with the question so much that I thought I should phrase the hint the same way, but I guess that could have been more misleading than helpful.

TOS is The Original Series, i.e., Star Trek. The answer (not Booth/Bones) is a little known ship that I never expect anyone to get, but I include it on my memes anyway because they were the first couple that I shipped hardcore when I was starting to learn what fandom was.

7. OH MY GOD YOU GOT TRIP/T'POL. I LOVE YOU. No one has ever gotten them on a meme before. It works on the timeline because Anastasia came out in 1997 and #8 is May 2003... (although I suppose arguably, canon Trip/T'Pol didn't start until S3 in 2004ish, but I shipped them pretty much from S1)
8. And yes, it's Spuffy!! :D Because Spike's death was the first scene of BtVS I ever saw, and I already shipped Spuffy like woah when I started actually watching the show three years later.

The first image image I had in my head was a big dramatic scene, and I knew there were super-hero costumes of a sort involved...

I'm not even sure that's how the scene played out because it's been awhile since I've seen the movie. At the time I was in a house full of people and it was possibly Christmas Day, and I may have even fallen asleep during the after-dinner showing :)
