OTP Children: Bela/Dean

Look at these two beautiful human beings.

There are two things I often think when I see Dean and Bela in "Red Sky at Morning":
1) They should always wear formalwear.
2) Wouldn't their children be gorgeous? 

I mean, really, look at them.  Their children would be gorgeous.

So naturally, I had to cast them.

Why yes, this is a gratuitous photo of Dean and Bela in formalwear because LBR, you can never have enough.

Steven R. McQueen as Jack (John Robert Castiel) Talbot-Winchester


      


Jack and Abby in hunting mode.  They excel in the family business, natch.


        


But unlike their father and uncle, they smile integrate it into their life instead of making it their whole life.


Other second-generation characters in my head-canon:


Jack is gay and has an extremely attractive boyfriend who doesn't know about the supernatural at the beginning of their relationship.  Said boyfriend wigs when he finds out and needs some time to think about it, but ultimately he decides Jack is worth the crazy-scary family legacy that comes with the package.  Not that he doesn't still freak out sometimes.

("Wait.  So you have all these guns."
"Yeah."
"And you shoot them."
"Uh...yeah.  That is generally what one does with guns."
"And your sister shoots them."
"Very enthusiastically."
"So she wasn't kidding when she said she'd shoot out my kneecaps if I ever hurt you?"

(Because in the one season of TVD I watched, he and Steven R. McQueen had good chemistry.)


So, these last two require a bit of explanation: I was day-dreaming Dean/Bela children back before I had watched S6/S7, so I didn't know

how brief and ill-fated the Cas-as-God idea was, but I knew from spoilers that at one point it happened.  And if Cas were God, well, naturally his precious, beloved godchildren must have guardian angels.  So when Abby and Jack were born, Cas created guardian angels to accompany them through life and protect them.  Obviously, Cas is not God, and this does not actually work with canon so...pretend there's a different explanation; I just wanted to explain the genesis of this particularly random piece of head!canon.

Peeta Mellark Josh Hutcherson as David, Jack's guardian angel and, much to Jack's disgruntlement, Abby's eventual boyfriend

(I would not have chosen a Peeta picture except I want blond!Josh Hutcherson, and there aren't a whole lot of decent non-Peeta blond pics of him.  Plus, the Peeta shot actually works well because he looks so stiff and soldier-like and, well, like an angel.  And there are so many other shots of Amy smiling her beautiful, beautiful smile that I thought about choosing, but I liked her warrior expression in this one- again, angel.)


And voila.  My daydreams, ladies and gentlemen.  :)
